Let There Be Rock

Who we are

Aussie Rock is a team of mates working with our supporters to raise funds for sick, disadvantaged and special needs kids in Queensland.

The Variety Bash is not a race or a rally. It is an adventure with mates, driving cars 25 years old or older through regional parts of Australia you might never otherwise see, all to support Variety.

All the time we spend fundraising and volunteering before and during the Bash is given freely. We fundraise in the community all year.

Want to see who the money helps? Read the stories on Variety Queensland's own site. Please see Variety's donation page for how donations are used.

Swinging for kids, 2014

Before the 2014 Bash, the Aussie Rock team helped raise money for a Liberty swing for children with disability in a park in Cleveland. Variety Queensland made the swing, Redland City Council provided the site and Ormiston College ran a raffle. The car that year was a 1978 Ford Fairlane.
